What a beautiful place. Situated in the heart of the scottish highlands, this spacious self catering accomadation offered us everything we needed. Both affordable and perfect for days out to Grantown on Spey, Aviemore and Inverness.

Welcome to The Steading, Grantown-on-Spey

Ballieward Steading is a traditional detached stone-built cottage converted from an old croft steading. It is adjacent to the owner’s house surrounded by beautiful gardens in a quiet country location.

Set in the Cairngorms National Park, the Steading is only 1 ½ miles from the Highland town of Grantown-on-Spey. It is surrounded by fields and woodlands full of nesting birds in springtime.

This immaculate property is maintained to the highest standards. It is fully equipped and the price includes electricity, white bed linen and towels.

The two double bedrooms accommodate up to four people.

There is a separate bathroom and shower room. Tasteful décor and comfortable, modern furnishings (including satellite TV) combine to make this a delightful holiday home.

There is private off road parking for two cars and sitting out areas around the garden.

The Steading is an ideal base for visiting attractions throughout the North of Scotland. It is near to the Whisky Trail, the Strathspey Steam Railway, the Cairngorm funicular, Loch Ness and the Loch Garten Osprey Centre.
