There's plenty to see and do at the Steading ....

Grantown-on-Spey, the capital of Strathspey, is a traditional Highland town situated 14 miles from Aviemore at the northern edge of the Cairngorms National Park.
The River Spey, famed for its salmon fishing, is only a short walk from the town centre and there are numerous easy walking routes along the river.
There is a wide variety of quality shops, hotels, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops both in the town and surrounding area.
Grantown is bordered by ancient woodlands including Anagach Woods which has marked trails and paths providing access for walking, running, orienteering or cycling.
Golf, bird and nature watching, skiing, pony trekking, off-road driving and water sports are just some of the other activities available throughout the year.
Ballieward Steading is the perfect base to explore the local Speyside area and visit tourist attractions throughout the Highlands and North East Scotland.
These include:
Scotland’s Malt Whisky Trail
Loch Ness
Craggan Outdoor Activity Centre
Highland Folk Museum
Logie Steading Visitor Centre
Strathspey Steam Railway
Loch Garten Osprey Centre
Loch Insh Watersports
